A storage building that adapts to fluctuations in your business
From the storage tent installed for the short term to the logistics building, Spaciotempo has the solution for all your storage issues.
With the construction process used, you can cover your stocks temporarily with a rental, or permanently through the purchase of a removable warehouse. Renting a Spaciotempo hangar allows you to constantly adapt your storage space to meet the fluctuations of your activity.
Respect for the standards of so-called traditional construction, in terms of climatic loadings as well as the numerous solutions proposed in terms of anchoring, waterproofing, insulation, treatment of condensation or even industrial openings, make the Spaciotempo storage building structures perfect for the requirements of your business. Our solutions can be adapted, from the simplest configuration, for example awnings, to insulated and fully equipped buildings.
We will recommend one of our products according to the duration of the lease, the installation necessities and your economic criteria. Our advisers are at your disposal to assist you in your storage building project, contact us.
Why choose a demountable storage building?
Tent, marquee, demountable building, temporary construction, hangar kit, modular storage building, reversible construction... These terminologies all refer to a construction process that is intended to be installed and, once in use, to be removed. The installation platform then returns to its original configuration.
A choice linked to the timing of needs
The most obvious reason for choosing this type of construction is the punctuality or temporality of the need. The industrial storage building is rented for a period that is adapted to the customer's requirements, over a contractual period of between 3 and 60 months.
A few weeks after the requirement is expressed (or much faster in urgent cases), the storage building is delivered and built on site by our teams. The keys are handed over to you: the building is ready for use. At the end of its useful life, the teams come to dismantle it and the equipment is sent back to the Flixecourt site where it is sorted, washed, repaired and put back in stock, ready to be redeployed. The installation site at the operator's premises has been restored to its original configuration.
Semi-permanent building in response to a financial rationale
Choosing to rent a demountable storage building allows companies to vary their financial burden. They can control their costs and preserve their investment capacity so that they can devote it to the key elements of their business. So, even for permanent, definitive needs, some major groups choose to rent a storage building in situ for an impact on costs rather than on fixed assets.
A solution to land-related imperatives
One of the criteria put forward by our customers, over and above the necessary administrative authorisations, is the right to own the land. They sometimes rent their site, and renting a demountable building gives them the option of: terminating the rental contract, dismantling the building and returning a cleared platform, or moving the industrial building to another site in the event of a move.
What are the most common uses for a temporary storage building?
Winning a major commercial contract:
it can increase the volume of storage required on site, whether for parts prior to processing, finished products, raw materials, machinery, or even to house the bare pallets needed for packaging. The use of a demountable storage shed means that the rental period can be strictly linked to the duration of the contract.
Lack of visibility over the evolution of the order book:
This is one of the criteria most often cited by our industrial customers, who are seeing an increase in their business volume, but with visibility limited to the medium term. They are increasingly constrained by their own customers, who are finding it hard to sign up to long-term commitments in a turbulent economic climate.
A seasonal need:
When seasonality is an extremely important factor in business fluctuations, temporary construction is the obvious solution. The Christmas period, for example, is a unique time for e-commerce sites that need to increase their capacity and throughput. They need a temporary structure, whether to create extra living space for the many temporary workers, or to expand their warehouse space and store products. The configuration chosen for the roof insulation and/or façade cladding then depends on the specifications submitted.
Finally, when an industrial site wants to carry out major works :
it may need to remove stock from its existing industrial buildings, for example to bring the main building up to standard, carry out paving work or install new equipment. By renting a demountable storage building for the duration of the works, you can keep a space in the main building dedicated to production (where the most added value is generated), and store your stocks in a temporary space on the processing site itself.
